It has been forever since I have updated the blog. As my new year resolution, I am going to try and update it once a week with a new craft, recipe or an update on the Rasband household!
Since the last update Scott and I got hitched! We had a small ceremony with family and close friends in Ocean Shores, WA July 16, 2011. Everything was perfect! We have not taken our honeymoon yet, but we plan on Hawaii hopefully some time this fall.
Elese celebrated her 11th birthday December 7. She has grown into such a beautiful young lady! Its amazing how time flys! She is in her second year of Violin, and loving it. She has recently started playing electric bass, and is a fast learner! She took a year off from soccer this year, but still loves the sport! She is a star in her Drama Club and has a play coming up in April, Scott and I hope to make it down to see it and surprise her.
Ethan celebrated his 8th birthday June 20. Again I cant believe how time flys! It seems like yesterday I was changing his diaper. Ethan is really in to Lego's. He has joined a Lego club at school where he can put his imagination to work. Last year he wrestled and took 3rd in his division. Watching his videos made me very nervous. But he did great! He is pressing to play football, but his mom and I both agree maybe next year (hopefully he puts on a little weight, my little bean poll!)
Scott has been staying busy with softball. He is playing on two teams. Our co-ed (who took first place in our league) team ended in July. He is currently playing on a men's team and they took 5th in state and have another tournament coming up in February.
I walked in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure for the second year in a row. It was an amazing experience that I was able to share with my cousin Becky and our newest team member Kellie, who is a survivor of Breast Cancer. Becky and I have decided to take a year off of fundraising, and we are going to Crew the event September 2012. It will be very interesting to see how the 3-Day comes together and all the work that the crew puts in. I know we will be tired as our days start at 4am! But it is all worth it to find a cure for this awful disease!
I hope you have enjoyed the update, I promise I will keep up this year!
