Last night was Crockpot Chicken Philly's. Scared from my last Pintrest dinner, I proceeded with caution.
The directions are easy and there is only 5 ingredients you need for the crockpot. I prepped everything the night before so all I had to do was throw it in the pot and turn it on.
After letting it cook all day I come home to my house smelling amazing, but I was still cautious.
I split my hoagie rolls in half, buttered them and threw some shredded mozzarella cheese on them and tossed them under the broiler until the cheese was melted and slightly browned. After they were done I topped my hoagie rolls with the mixture from the crock pot.
Now the taste test....... IT WAS AMAZING! The delicious smell matched the amazing flavors. Everyone had two sandwiches it was so good. This is one for the books! I will defiantly make this again!
Overall this was a: Pintrest Success
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons butter
1 large sweet onion, sliced thinly
3 green bell peppers, sliced thinly
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly
2 Tablespoons Steak Seasoning (I used chicken/steak marinade with spice to it)
Mozzarella Cheese (I used shredded, but sliced would work just as well)
Hoagie Rolls (6)
Directions:
1) Place butter in crockpot
2) Toss in green peppers and onions
3) Toss sliced chicken with Steak Seasoning (add salt and pepper if you want)
4) Once chicken is coated put in crockpot, cover and cook in low for 5 hours
5) Serve on hoagie rolls with melted mozzarella and enjoy!
